Chapter 17: Prime & Dani

Prime watched the woman as she rubbed her husband’s head then kissed him. Michaela was always so fucking attentive to that nigga. It annoyed Prime.

“Hey, papi,” Dani said.

Prime finally glanced over at her. “What’s up?” he replied, pouring himself more rum.

Dani moved next to him. She kissed his neck like she always did then wrapped an arm around his shoulder.

“You good?” she asked.

“I’m straight.”

Dani knew something was off. She could tell by the way Prime’s shoulders tensed.

“Need me to get you something?”

Prime shook his head as he drank his liquor. “Nah.”

Dani followed his eyes, and they were trained solely on Michaela. She sighed in annoyance. Yeah, when she first started fucking with Prime, it was for the sole reason of helping Mali, but over the last year, she had really developed feelings for Prime, and to see him lusting after Michaela annoyed the shit out of her.

Dani leaned down and whispered in Prime’s ear, “You can’t fuck her. You may as well get that shit out your head, papi. That’s Throne’s pussy. Trust me. She won’t even give me none.”

Prime tilted his head back and looked at Dani. “Fuck that mean?” he asked her.

“It means, I been trying to fuck that bad chocolate bitch for a while and she ain’t fucking nobody but Throne. Her pussy smells nice though,” Dani said, smiling as she wiggled her fingers. “She let me touch it.”

Dani chuckled. She was a crude bitch and she knew it. Being bisexual had its perks. And a man who showed her love had its perks, too. Just ask Mali. Prime smacked his lips. “You lying.”

“No I ain’t.”

Prime shook his head, but he didn’t have time to worry about his lust for his best friend’s woman. He had other shit to do.

About an hour later, Dani and Prime were in his condo in Midtown. On the outside, the place was lavish, but Prime was messy and unorganized so the inside looked like a hurricane had hit. Clothes were scattered everywhere. Dirty dishes lay about. Shoes had been tossed around. Pizza boxes and Chinese takeout cartons sat atop the wraparound bar. The exposed brick interior had a bug or two crawling around.
